I love the creativity and freedom of it. Everyone is different and one thing doesn’t work for everyone. I get to connect with different people and help create something that makes them feel good about themselves!

What excites you most about creating Blush? 

I’m finally making my dream come true. I get to work for myself alongside ambitious, driven, thoughtful, fun, hardworking women and we’re creating a nurturing space for stylist to grow and thrive and most importantly have fun and enjoy this awesome career!

Would you rather be at the beach or in the mountains?

Tough one, I come from an area where there are actual mountains, not like Maryland where you call hills mountains! Something about that always has a place in your DNA. Mountains are so calming and serene. On the other hand, I do love the sun on my skin and the sound of waves in the back ground. It’s a toss up and probably changes daily. Ask me tomorrow ha

What’s something you learned about yourself in the last three months?  

I am way stronger than I thought, I am determined and I can do this.

What is your favorite season?

My favorite season is definitely Spring, when the flowers are blooming and the weather is finally starting to turn. That’s when I find I’m most motivated and I’m secretly obsessed with gardening. My goal someday is to have a cutting garden my neighbors are all jealous of, flowers make me happy! 

How long have you been doing hair?

Been in the hair industry for 17 years, been behind the chair for 15 years.

What's your all-time favorite part about doing hair?

I love being able to make people feel good about themselves. Every head is a new canvas for me, and I love being able to create a new masterpiece on a daily basis.

Where are you from?

I am from Northern Virginia originally.

Around 8 years but in the industry for 13

Where are you from?

Moved to Annapolis when I was 5. Been here ever since except for my time graduating from West Virginia University. Now I live back in my childhood neighborhood, Cape St. Claire, with my husband & 2 daughters. 

What excites you most about being a part of Blush?

I am so excited to create a safe space for stylists to be themselves, create, and flourish. Seeing others grow and become the best version of themselves is what drives me. Let's flip the script on the predisposition to be cutthroat in this industry and instead build each other up! 

What's something you learned about yourself in the last 3 months?

There is little that I can not handle. Throw it at me and I'll deal with anything with grace and a whole lot of grit.

Random Fact: 

I can fix just about everything except electricity. If it wasn't so dangerous, I would try though. ☠️.🤣,

What is your favorite part of being a hairstylist?

My favorite part about being a hairstylist is making clients feel beautiful and confident. It is incredibly fulfilling making someone feel good about themselves. I also love building the relationships and connections with my clients.

I am from Annapolis, MD

What makes you most excited about working at Blush?

I am excited to work with all these talented stylists and be able to watch and grow from each individual. I can’t wait to continue to learn and improve my skills while being around such an amazing group of people.

Beach or Mountains?

I would rather be at the beach! It is by far my favorite place to just relax and hangout with friends while also getting tan!!!

Favorite season?

My favorite season is fall! I love the temperate not to hot not to cold and overall it is just so pretty outside in the fall!!!

What is your favorite part about being a hairstylist?

My favorite part about being a hairstylist is the connections I make with clients!  Doing hair is an outlet for my creativity and is a passion that keeps me content. I love making people feel like their best selves. 

Where are you from? 

I am from Sunderland, MD.

What are you most excited about joining the Blush Team? 

I am excited to work with the strong and powerful women that I look up to at Blush, and to see myself grow from working alongside them! All of these stylists are truly talented and I couldn’t imagine working with any other team!

Beach or Mountains? 

I would rather be at the beach! I grew up going to Delaware to visit my grandparents every year and nothing compares to it. Just the sound of the ocean waves keeps me happy!

What is your favorite season? 

My favorite season is fall! The leaves start to turn all the pretty colors and the pumpkin flavored muffins and coffees start up again!

My favorite part about being a hairstylist is making clients feel as confident they can be! I love being able to give clients their dream hair!

What excites you most about joining the Blush team?

The best thing about being apart of blush is being surrounded by all of the hard working women! It is truly so inspiring to watch and be apart of! 

Beach or Mountains?

I would definitely have to pick the beach! It is my favorite type of vacation to on with my family! I love laying in the sun and swimming in the water!

What's your all-time favorite part about being a hairstylist?

My favorite part of being a hairstylist is building long-lasting relationships with my clients.

I am from Millersville, MD!

What excites you most about joining the Blush team?

I am most excited about working in a beautiful salon with a great group of fellow stylists!

I'd rather be in the mountains!

What hidden talents do you have?

Nothing comes to mind, LOL. I'll get back to you on that one.

I have been doing hair for 5 years!

What’s you all time favorite part about doing hair?

Aside from physically doing hair, I really love creating relationships with my clients! There’s no better feeling than looking forward to seeing my clients in my chair so we can catch up.

Where are you from?

I am from all over the place! I was born in Pennsylvania but have also lived in Massachusetts, New York & New Hampshire before moving to Maryland in 2013.

What excites you the most about being at Blush?

I love being a part of the Blush team because I feel like I just fit. Being able to say I’m excited to go to work not only because I love my job, but also because I love the people I work with is such a privilege.

What are your most commonly used emojis?

A staple for me is this guy 🤣, but I also frequently use these as well: 🥺, 🫶🏼 & ☠️.

Would you rather be at the beach or in the mountains?

I’m a beach girl always.

What is your favorite season?

My favorite season is the spring! I love when the days start to get longer and the weather starts to get warmer.  

How long have you been doing hair? 

I have been doing hair for 3 years. 

What’s your all time favorite part about doing hair?

My favorite part about doing hair is the mix of creativity, passion, & human connection. I really love to hone in on the small details of my craft while simultaneously discovering who my clients are inside and out. 

Where are you from?

I grew up on the eastern shore of Maryland, lived in Annapolis for 5 years, now back to my roots on the Eastern side.

What excites you the most about being with Blush?

The progressiveness, the empowering women/lifelong friends, & especially the team work. 

What are your most commonly used emojis?

My most used emojis are currently 🤣 & 🫶🏼 - and very fitting because what would life be without a little love and laughter lol

What’s your favorite season? 

If I could choose one season for the entire year it would be Fall, hands down. The crisp air, autumn colors, pumpkin everything, cardigans, & spooky szn! The vibes are immaculate ✨

How long have you been doing hair?

I've been behind the chair doing hair for 4 years now, but I've been in the industry for 7!

What’s your all-time favorite part about doing hair?

The relationship and connection I build with my clients 💛 I love catching up, hearing stories, and spilling the tea every 4 to 12 weeks with my client friends. On the technical side, however, I love doing dimensional gray coverage or blending. Everybody can and should have beautiful, multi dimensional tresses.

Where are you from?

I’m from Downingtown Pennsylvania, went to college in central Pennsylvania, but moved to Queenstown Maryland 5 years ago and have been there since.

What excites you the most about joining Blush?

I’m most excited about being a part of team. I love working with other like-minded people, problem solving and collaborating together.

Would you rather be at the beach or in the mountains?

Mountains for sure. No better time or place than enjoying a glass of wine while your dinner simmers on the campfire, tired after a day of hiking, and exploring.

What is your favorite season?

I'm a Halloween 🎃 baby so hands down has got to be fall. Renaissance faire, apple cider donuts, Hocus Pocus, pumpkin picking, changing leaves, what’s not to love?

I have been doing hair for 2 years now and in the industry for 4. 

What do you love most about being a hairstylist?

My favorite thing about being a hairstylist is the smile I bring to people's faces when they look in the mirror. I love helping people feel beautiful and giving them a boost in their confidence.

What excites you most about working at Blush?

I am most excited to work with such a talented group of women who share the same passions as myself such a bridal and continuing education.

Beach or Mountains?

I would much rather be at the beach with a cold drink, listening to music all day!

Favorite Season?

My favorite season is spring because all the flowers that start to bloom and I can start paddle boarding again!

I have a hidden talent. I can say the alphabet backwards 

How long have you been doing hair? 

9 years!

What’s you all time favorite part about doing hair? 

The impact you can make on someone in the time you share with them. People having a positive, emotional response to their transformation is a pretty awesome feeling. It’s not always about hair either. I had a 65 year old client who was sad she didn’t know how to throw a ball to play catch with her grandson, so after her service, I walked outside with her and showed her how to throw using a pine cone. She got to finally play catch with her grand baby. It still makes me smile thinking about that. 

Where are you from? 

I’m a Chicago native but have had the privilege of living all over the country including Hawaii, California, Florida and now I’m here! 

What excites you the most about joining Blush? 

The energy in the salon. I felt comfortable the moment I walked into Blush. 

Would you rather be at the beach or in the mountains?

Mountains are where my heart belongs. If I ever go missing, look in Wyoming.

What is your favorite season?

My favorite season is football and baseball season🙌🏼
